About the SFF Academy at The Bridge

This national pilot program is a partnership between SFF, Duval County Public School System and The Bridge of Northeast Florida, Inc.. The Schools for the Future Academy at The Bridge is a public school for teens who have been retained (held back a grade) at least twice. The SFF Academy focuses on a technology-based curriculum which allows students on different levels, but in the same classroom, to learn together and at their own pace.

The SFF Academy also addresses mental challenges with the targeted population. Student Advocates are part of the school staff and assist with family and individual counseling.
