Teaming up with Duval County Public Schools

Team Up

Team UP Programs are after-school programs housed in a Duval County Public School. The Bridge operates seven TEAM UP programs throughout the county. Our TEAM UPs are:

  • Arlington Middle School
  • DuPont Middle School
  • North Shore K-8th School
  • Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary School
  • Justina Road Elementary School
  • St. Clair Evans Academy (elementary)
  • Andrew Robinson Elementary School

All TEAM UP programs follow the same format including: healthy snack, homework assistance and tutoring, enrichment activities including arts and crafts, sports and field trips as well as a hot meal every day. The results of the Team UP program are: increase in promotion rates, decrease in truancy, and development of well-rounded and well-adjusted youth through strengthening of critical thinking and positive decision-making skills.
