Holland & Knight 9/11 Day of Service

For the fourth consecutive year, Holland & Knight participated in the nationwide 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, a service initiative created in part by Jay Winuk, brother of Glenn Winuk, a Holland & Knight partner and volunteer EMT who, on 9/11, exited the firm's New York office and lost his life while rescuing others during the collapse of the World Trade Center.

More than 100 volunteers assisted The Bridge of Northeast Florida with a number of painting, landscaping, and maintenance projects in the classrooms and playground areas of our Springfield location.

The Bridge would like to humbly thank the Jacksonville office of Holland & Knight and the participating partners for their outward recognition of our Bridge services and for extending honor, beauty and the spirit of blessing others on our children and campus.

Bank of America Awards The Bridge $10,000

The Bridge of Northeast Florida would like to thank Bank of America for its support of our BridgeWorks Plus program.
Recently, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation awarded The Bridge a $10,000 Workforce Development & Education Grant to help fund our mission to provide students with academic assistance; a job skills curriculum that provides training in work ethics, job searching, resume writing and interviewing as well as "real work" experiences. The grant we received is part of ongoing investments by Bank of America to help connect the unemployed, underemployed, veterans, youth and those with disabilities to employment and education opportunities.
